Meet Dr. Thomson
Dr. Chris Thomson, BSP, MD, FRCSC is board certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada as a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. He is a member of several professional organizations, including:

Dr. Thomson’s Experience
Dr. Thomson received his medical degree in 2002 from the University of Saskatchewan after earning a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree, both with Great Distinction. His specialty training began with a residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Dalhousie University in Halifax, followed by subspecialty fellowship training focusing on hand and micro vascular surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr Thomson has written for a number of peer-reviewed publications and presented at national and international plastic surgery conferences.
College of Medicine, Division of Plastic Surgery
Dr Thomson was pleased to return home to his alma mater, the University of Saskatchewan, in 2008 where he is a teacher, mentor and faculty member in the College of Medicine, Division of Plastic Surgery. Dr Thomson’s cosmetic surgery practice is completely separate from his affiliation with the University where he holds an appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery.
